General InfoIn Berkeley Township, Chief of Police Karin DiMichele serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator; Deputy Coordinators Michael Tier, George Dohn and Rip Bondulich assist Chief DiMichele. Together they are responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts in the event of any disaster whether it is "natural, technological, or man-made."
The Berkeley Township Office of Emergency Management provides a coordination of efforts and response for its residents during times of emergencies. The Berkeley Township Office of Emergency Management is committed to serving the residents and visitors by realizing all four phases of emergency management; mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
